Kamikaze
Pruning is one of the tasks in agriculture and gardening that combines science and art. A good pruner knows how to harmonize their knowledge, acquired through training or wisdom gained through generations, with the best tools to care for plants and crops.
In Kamikaze we like to create the necessary tools for pruning reliably and accurately. That is why today we present KO-SU technology, an evolution of our tradition as makers of pruning tools.
The KO-SU technology is a high precision manufacturing process, which means that a computerized system makes four different cutting angles in the blade.
As a result of the arrangement of the teeth, a much more accurate cut is obtained and infections are avoided in pruning, as working teeth leave behind a smooth surface and regular cut.
In addition to KO-SU technology, the Kamikaze handsaws continue to incorporate all those processes resulting in a more precise cut with less effort:
- ‘Hollow Ground’ Sharpening: Consists in reducing the sheet thickness to minimize friction with the timber. As a result, pruning involves less time and energy when using the Kamikaze handsaws.
- Hardened Pulse: Kamikaze teeth are hardened at high temperature, providing a higher hardness blade and extending the life of the blade about three times compared to the traditional tooth.
- Hard Chrome plated blades: Hardens the surface of the blade, makes it more resistant to wear, sap and resin from trees. Also, the leaves are stainless and can be cleaned with a simple rinse.
