Grupo Sanz acquires 75% of Newker Ceramics

Grupo Sanz communicates its entry into the field of ceramics with the purchase of 75 percent of the Castellon tiles company Newker Ceramic that will integrate in its real estate development division.

Thanks to this operation, which led to the acquisition of a 75% stake of Newker, Grupo Sanz will diversify their farming activity in the markets where it already has a presence, bringing the experience of the newly acquired Newker to develop public and private projects in countries like Peru, Brazil and Colombia.

The African continent represents another business oportunity, considering the presence of Grupo Sanz in countries like Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Ghana and others. Acquiring Newker will invigorate industrial production lines of Grupo Sanz structure and will reduce its fixed costs by 5%, thanks to the contributions of the structure and resources of the newly acquired Newker Ceramic.
